Accessibility Statement

Last updated: August 14, 2026

Pressure Cleaning Jacksonville FL wants this website to be usable by everyone, including people using screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, screen magnification or reduced-motion settings.

The short version. We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA. The site works with keyboard only, has a skip-to-content link, uses semantic headings and landmarks, respects reduced-motion preferences, and every meaningful image has descriptive alt text. If something does not work for you, tell us and we will fix it.

The standard we work to

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. That is the level referenced by most US accessibility requirements and it is a reasonable bar for a site like this.

What we have built in

  • Skip to content link as the first focusable element on every page, so keyboard users can bypass the navigation.
  • Semantic structure — one h1 per page, properly nested headings, and main, nav, header and footer landmarks.
  • Keyboard operable throughout. The mobile menu, the FAQ accordions and the quote form are all reachable and operable without a mouse.
  • Visible focus indicators on every interactive element, using a high-contrast outline rather than the browser default.
  • Native controls where possible. The FAQ accordions use the browser's own details element, so they work correctly with assistive technology and still function if JavaScript fails.
  • Descriptive alt text on every meaningful image; decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Reduced motion respected. If your system requests reduced motion, the scrolling trust strip and all transitions are disabled.
  • Labelled form fields with real label elements, and errors announced through an alert region rather than colour alone.
  • Responsive and zoomable. The layout reflows to 320px and supports 200% zoom without loss of content.
  • Data tables use proper row and column headers with scope attributes, and scroll horizontally inside their own container rather than breaking the page.

Known limitations

We would rather list these than claim perfection:

  • Some longer data tables require horizontal scrolling on small screens. The content is all reachable, but comparing across columns on a phone is harder than it should be.
  • A small number of secondary text elements sit at contrast ratios close to, rather than comfortably above, the 4.5:1 minimum. We are reviewing these.
  • This site has been tested with automated tooling and manual keyboard navigation, but has not yet had a full audit with a screen reader by a user who relies on one. That is planned.

If the website does not work for you

You never have to use this website to get a quote from us. Call (904) 938-9001 during Mon–Sat · 7:00am – 6:00pm and we will take everything over the phone, or email quotes@pressurecleaningjacksonvillefl.co in whatever format suits you. We will never ask you to use the online form.

Reporting a problem

If you hit an accessibility barrier on this site, please tell us. Email quotes@pressurecleaningjacksonvillefl.co with the page address and what went wrong, and we will respond within five working days. Reports like these are genuinely useful — most accessibility problems are found by the people who encounter them, not by automated tools.
